B.E.R.E.G is not only a pioneer and leader among Algerian engineering design offices through the international professional certification of 23 architects and engineers by the CERTIPOT Authorized Testing Center, as part of the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM), but also holds the first position in Africa as a governmental entity fully operating in BIM (Mastering all technical disciplines: Architecture, Structure, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).

It should be noted that B.E.R.E.G was praised for its initiative by BIM Africa, a civil society organization (NGO) mandated to enable and regulate the adoption and implementation of BIM in the architecture, engineering, and construction operations (AECO) industry across Africa.

In this regard, Algeria was selected among four African countries (South Africa, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Algeria) to be included in the August 2020 BIM Africa report, which highlights various initiatives on the digital transformation of the construction industry in Africa, presenting the pilot project for implementing the BIM process within B.E.R.E.G.

It is also important to note that the BIM Africa 2020 report is widely accessible to experts and professionals across Africa and the rest of the world.
